My Home Theatre

Now that I've moved, I've been able to find a proper home for my movies and collectables. Below are pictures of my new home theatre.

Guess I should start with what is the best thing in my entire movie room. This is my Sony Wega XBR.

Here are just a small portion of my DVDs. I have been trying out numerous ways to organize them. It's hard to find what you want when you have to hunt through so many.

Hi. I'm Bob McKenzie and this is my brother Doug. How's it going eh? Here are two of the best things to ever come out of The Great White North. These figures were created by the amazing folks at McFarlene Toys. The detail is amazing and they even speak 4 lines that fans know by heart.

Upon moving and upacking my movie room stuff I figured out I was gonna need a lot more shelf space. Here are things like my Flintstones and Batman Forever mugs, Jurassic Park frame ( still without a picture in it ), Southpark wall plaque, and my Star Wars Monopoly.

Here is a close up of my Nightmare Before Christmas globe that sits on the shelf above.

This may not look like movie stuff but it is. Here are a variety of trading cards from various movies. I have various movie magazines and comic books too.

Here are a few more collectibles in my room. Spawn and Capt. Piccard. And above them sits......

ASH!!!! This is truley the best figure I have so far. Ash is part of the Movie Maniacs Series 3 from McFarlene. This shotgun toting wise ass comes with all kind of extras including that damn book of the dead. On the other shelf is a another bunch of slackers. Jay and Silent Bob, famous from films of Kevin Smith, come with accessories galore.

There is no spoon. Well...forget the damn spoon. McFarlene brought us figures from the movie instead. Neo, Trinity, Morpheus and the rest of the rebels escape the Sentinels and are able to find a way to the real world.

Some odds and ends made it to this shelf. Here is my Limited Edition Evil Dead 2: Dead By Dawn Tin. Also have my Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Hat. And to the far end is the cover to my T2: Ultimate Edition DVD. And in the slender black case lies another Army of Darkness tresure.

I was able to find these pewter pieces at an auction site and was very lucky to get them. Would love to display them but they are very tiny and I don't trust the cat any farther than I can throw her. ( 35 feet seems to be my record with the cat so far )

Here is the home for my Austin Powers figures. Also have a few limited edition peweter figures of Marvel superheroes.

Notice I have 3 Dr. Evil figures and only 1 Austin. If Dr. Evil isn't in part 3 then I don't think it'll be worth the price of a ticket.

McFarlene strikes again and this time he brings the characters from X-Files: Fight The Future.

I think that having a decomposing dead body on a gurney certainly adds to the realism of the figures, don’t you? The man has an eye for detail but where do ya draw the line man!?!?!?!

The Star Wars universe even got it's own wall in my room.

Tough to see but these micro machines sure have a lot of detail.

Here are some of the interactive figures created for Episode 1.

And instead of a comment on this shelf, I'll just say that these are the last things I will ever buy that put money in to the pocket of George " Too Good For DVD " Lucas.
